Mentorship Program

The SNiP-it Mentor program is a one to two week program based on your needs and availability.  The scope of the program is tailored to senior veterinary students and will have its primary focus to provide hands-on mentoring for spay neuter surgeries.  The student will work with the mentor doctor at a pace that is suitable for each student’s level of confidence and experience.  Students may have the opportunity to perform soft tissue surgeries other than spay/neuter at the mentor doctor’s discretion.  In addition, there are opportunities to participate in basic dental prophylaxis and extractions.

SNiP-it is located in the heart of the Theme Park Capital of the country.  The closest beach is only 45 minutes away and there are many environmental activities such as hiking, biking and kayaking. The average annual temperature is 72 degrees. 

We work 4 – 10 hour days per week which provides plenty of downtime to explore all the area has to offer and unwind after the fast paced work week.

Our veterinarians have over 40 years of experience combined. You are sure to expand your technical skills as well as managing your stress, communication and interpersonal skills.  Our staff works as a team at the clinic and outside of work.
