Dental cleaning involves a dental exam to confirm that a dental cleaning is needed is the first step. The veterinarian will review with you what procedures are likely required prior to the dental cleaning. The veterinarian may request a pre-anesthetic blood tests to ensure that kidney and liver function are satisfactory for anesthesia, as well as an evaluation of the heart and abdomen if needed. Pre-anesthesia blood work is mandatory for all animals over 8 years old. Anesthesia is important to allow a tooth-by-tooth examination including dental X-rays. Please call 407-476-4748 to book your pre-anesthesia blood work.
There is a $50 deposit for all dental cleaning appointments.
There is a $100 Mission fee for unaltered animals.
